Anne and Mitch were married in a traditional Catholic ceremony at St Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in Gymea. Anne shares a close bond with her parents and grandparents; appreciative hugs and tears accentuated the preparations at home.
Following the ceremony, I took the bridal party down to a secluded Cronulla beach for some fun and romantic photos. I could see that Anne and Mitch clearly love each other’s company and share a quiet and tender connection.
A warm and intimate reception followed at Panorama House in Bulli Tops, where I grabbed the newlyweds for some magical night photos around the grounds to take advantage of the sweeping views of Wollongong city.
Anne’s vibrant floral arrangements were by Floriart , and her gown was from Dressense in Miranda. Note for photographers: All of these images were processed using Alien Skin Exposure 3. It lets you emulate a wide range of popular film stocks to make your images look more like film and less like digital, with organic, authentic film-like grain.

Your bride prep and bride shots always blow me away.
I was wondering what was giving your shots the new look !
Last time I was at Panorama House I got leeches from shooting on the grassy field next door … did you encounter any ?
Thanks Nerida. Yikes I had no idea there were leeches there.. lucky I wasn’t crawling through the grass trying to get any creative angles.
