Well, this would have to set the record for the smallest wedding I have ever witnessed. With just eight guests, Karen and Chris flew in from their home in the Philippines just days before the wedding to get married. The multi-talented Jennifer from Bells n Whistles Weddings coordinated the ceremony, and added her beautiful touch of yellow to style the famous Balmoral Beach rotunda. Robyn Pattinson officiated the ceremony; I was impressed with how well she got to know the couple and incorporate it into her words.
Despite the small group of people (or perhaps because of it), everyone (including me) was swept up in the emotion of the ceremony and the love shared between Chris and Karen. They recited their own touching vows and shared a toast with close family and friends as two of their friends beautifully rendered versions of the Beatles classic ‘All you need is love’.

We landed in Sydney from the Manila just 24 hours before the wedding. But who could tell (apart from Jennifer), right?
It being an intimate occasion, our wedding was a bit quick. But we have you to thank for capturing every quirky moment of it and sealing it in your photographs so Chris and I can stretch that quick wedding ceremony for a lifetime.
Love your work, Jay. Thank you for being part of our small wedding.
Love,
Karen (and Chris)
