So, Shoma and Neelan’s epic week of celebrations had almost come to an end. The atmosphere at their Curzon Hall reception was bouyant; all the guests (and especially the families) seemed to breathe a collective sigh of relief as they relaxed, poured a drink and enjoyed the celebrations. It was definitely one of the most unique receptions I’ve ever witnessed: an amazing breakdance group, an interpretive dance performer and a hilarious movie dramatising how Shoma and Neelan met, were on the entertainment agenda. Following the speeches the dancefloor just got plain ridiculous, ending in a tie-limbo contest and piggy-back rides.
Yes, I’m serious.
Shoma’s make-up and hair was by the uber-talented Rani, photographed by me and Aalok.
