Mahtab and Ash were wed amongst the vibrant reds and oranges of Autumn at Briars Country Lodge & Historic Inn in Bowral. Following the civil ceremony, they were married again in a fascinating traditional Persian/Iranian marriage ceremony. They were told about us by the wonderful Anna and Jon, whose Jewish wedding we photographed back in 2010.
A hilarious “knife dance” performance by some of the girls involved them holding the cake knife ransom and teasing him with it until he paid each of them for it.
