A wedding in Sydney witnessed by giraffes and elephants – where do I sign? Taronga Centre which is situated right next to the zoo, offers two function rooms with insanely stunning views of the Sydney skyline. We’ve photographed dozens of civil weddings, Hindu weddings, Malayali weddings and Buddhist weddings at Taronga Centre.

You’re permitted to go with a guide through the actual Zoo and get photos by the bird amphitheatre (which has the best views of the city) and outside some of the animal enclosures. As the sun sets, you’ll get stunning scenic wedding photos on the long outdoor balcony which you can also use for night shots to get a glimpse of the Sydney city lights.

If you want to venture out from the zoo and Taronga Centre, you’re right near places like Bradley’s Head amphitheatre, Chowder Bay, Balmoral Beach and Georges Head lookout. You’re surrounded by water there so all these stunning locations are no more than ten minutes away.
